Mobi Ride Share Ltd. operating as Rent Your Ride (hereinafter, “Rent Your Ride”, “we”, “us” or “our”) wants to make sure you know we consider the privacy of our users to be extremely important. This Privacy Policy document describes in detail the types of personal information that is collected and recorded by Rent Your Ride when using our platform to communicate with other Rent Your Ride users or us on any device, or when personal information is otherwise provided to us. If you do not agree to any part of this Privacy Policy please refrain from using our platform and deactivate your Rent Your Ride account. By providing Personal Information to us, you agree to the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy.
The Privacy Policy may be modified at any time. Please review it frequently. The “Last revised” legend at the top of this page indicates when this Privacy Policy was last revised. If you use our platform and services after we post the revised Privacy Policy you are accepting the changes made to the Privacy Policy. All changes to the Privacy Policy become effective immediately when the “Last revised” date has been posted.
“Personal Information” is defined as recorded information about an identifiable individual which include or may include personal descriptors, identification numbers, employment, financial, education, or any information that can be used by itself or in addition to other information to identify an individual.
“Third Party” is defined as person or entity other than Rent Your Ride, its directors, officers or employees.

“Platform” is defined as a business model that creates value by facilitating exchanges by two or more interdependent groups, and the “RYR Platform” shall have its meaning as set out in our Terms of Service.
“Aggregated Information” is defined as information that has been compiled into data summaries that is not identifiable to a single individual.
We gather information in many different ways, whether it is directly through you or through a Third Party we collect and store your Personal Information to help improve the services we provide to you.
Personal Information that you give us
When you fill out any form located on our platform such as registering and updating your RYR Account, we collect the following personal information:
• email addresses
• name
• addresses (home and business)
• telephone number
• City/Province
• postal code
• All information contained on your Driver’s License
• date of birth
• photos

Communications with Rent Your Ride
If you communicate with Rent Your Ride through customer service via telephone, we may record your telephone call to ensure we are able to provide the best customer service. We also may record your phone call for documentation, training purposes, and record keeping. By contacting Rent Your Ride via telephone you are agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy please refrain from communicating with us via telephone.
If you communicate with Rent Your Ride through customer service via email, your email may be stored or saved to be accessible to us at a later date to ensure we are able to provide the best customer service. We may save or store your email for documentation, training and record keeping. By contacting Rent Your Ride via email you are agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy please refrain from communicating with us via email.
Communication with other Users
If you communicate with other Users through the RYR Platform, we may record any such communications in order to prevent fraud, illegal or prohibited activities, breaches of our Terms of Service and to resolve Claims between Users.
Making Purchases, Payments or Receiving Payments
The following information will be stored by a Third Party:
a) Financial information you provide us to make any purchase, payments or receive payments on the RYR Platform;
b) Financial information you provide us for any purchases done through our website on the RYR Platform, such as credit card numbers;
c) Bank account information provided by Users to receive or make payments; and
d) Financial information you provide us for potential payments, received payments or purchases.
We may use Third Parties to process the making or receiving of purchases or payments through the RYR Platform. By registering an RYR Account, you consent to your personal information being collected by our Third Party Service Provider for the purpose of making or receiving purchases or payments through the RYR Platform. To the extent a Third Party Service Provider provides such services, the collection, storage and use of Personal Information by the Third Party Service Provider shall be governed by the applicable Privacy Policy of the Third Party Service Provider.
Location Sharing and Vehicle Tracking
Our Location Sharing feature allows you to share your location with other users. We collect data from your mobile device to give information about the location of the vehicle you’re renting or your vehicle during the period of rental. Your location will be shared with us and other Users. By using our Location Services you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy as it relates to the Location Sharing Services, please refrain from using our Location Sharing services. Our Location Sharing service is active only if you agree to activate it and it can be easily deactivated in your settings of your mobile device.
Certain of the vehicles rented on the RYR Platform may be equipped with a vehicle tracking device allowing the Owner of the vehicle to continuously track the use of their vehicle, including speed, current and past locations and driving habits, by means of an in-car device operated and installed by a Third Party Service Provider. Any vehicle with a vehicle tracking service will be disclosed to the User in the vehicle’s Listing. By making a request for a Listing with a vehicle tracking device you are agreeing to have your location, direction of travel, past travel routes, and speed recorded and shared with the Owner. In such case, the Owner of the vehicle and the Third Party Service Provider are responsible for the collection, storage and use of the Personal Information recorded by the vehicle tracking device. If you do not agree with the terms of this Privacy Policy as it related to the vehicle tracking device, you should refrain from renting a vehicle with a vehicle tracking device.
Using the RYR Platform
When you browse our platform, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system.
Log Files
Like many other Web sites, we makes use of log files. These files log visitors to the site, which is usually a standard procedure for hosting companies and a part of hosting services' analytics, and applies even if you are not have not registered or logged into a RYR Account. The information inside the log files includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date/time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. This information is used to analyze trends, administer the site, track user's movement around the site, and gather demographic information. IP addresses, and other such information are not linked to any Personal Information.
Cookies and Web Beacons
Rent Your Ride uses cookies to store information about visitors' preferences, to record user-specific information on which pages the site visitor accesses or visits, and to personalize or customize our web page content based upon visitors' browser type or other information that the visitor sends via their browser.
Personal Information we collect through third party sources
We may collect Personal Information through Third Party sources such as verification of your identity and credit from credit bureaus.
Our platform has the option of signing up or logging in using Third Party applications such as Facebook or Google. By choosing to log in or sign up using a third party application, Personal Information from the Third Party application may be shared with us. Information about you may be linked to your visit to the RYR Platform to your account with the Third Party application you signed in with. We are not responsible for the collection, storage and use of Personal Information outside of the RYR Platform, including Third Party applications. Please make reference to the any applicable Privacy Policies of any such Third Parties to understand how your personal information may be shared or used.
The information we gather from you is used to provide you with great service. Information we gather from you is to allow security and efficiency when using the RYR Platform. We use or may use your Personal Information to:
• Allow secure access to our RYR Platform
• create a tailored personal customer service experience
• enable you to communicate with other Users on the RYR Platform by sending messages or information during the process of reserving or booking a rental
• send you messages for reminders, bookings, updates, security alerts, service, and information requested by you
• settle disputes and Claims
• collect fees or payment
• regulate surveys, sponsored events, and referral programs
• prevent and detect any illegal or prohibited activities
• gauge the performance of our services and platform
• control and guard our information and platform
• create a safe environment and community for all Users of the RYR Platform by conducting investigations, documentation checks, preventing or investigating fraud, illegal, or prohibited activities. We may perform the above without notifying you unless stated otherwise required by law.
• contact you through any personal information shared with us by you (including via email, telephone, or text message)
• produce target marketing
• send you advertising, marketing, or promotional information that may be of interest to you with your permission
• adhere to our legal obligations, resolve any disagreements with other Users and administer our agreements
You may be contacted by RYR or Third Party Service Providers via telephone, email, or postal mail regarding your account, the resolution of any disagreements, disputes or Claims, to collect any amounts owed to RYR or other Users, to trouble shoot any problems with your RYR Account, to record surveys and questionnaires sent to you, or to service your RYR Account. We may analyze communications between you and other Users on the RYR Platform to screen or prevent fraud, illegal or prohibited activities on our platform. We want to ensure the RYR Platform is safe for anyone to use. Personal Information may be saved after account deactivation to aid in any investigation, collect money owed, resolve any disagreements, process Claims, prevent fraudulent activities, and take any legal actions necessary and in accordance with applicable laws and our Terms of Service.
Your public profile connected to your RYR Account may contain Personal Information which will be shown on other parts of the RYR Platform and available to other Users using our Services and the public for advertising purposes. Any content that is posted in a community forum in addition to Ratings and Reviews on another User’s profile will be available to the general public and may be identifiably linked to your RYR Account.
The public profile on your RYR Account and your Listing may include Personal Information such as the approximate location of your vehicle (city and postal code) on a map, your public profile photo, a description and details of your vehicle, your schedule and/or availability, rating, reviews and feedback that other Users experience with you, your response time to the inquires of other Users and bookings for your vehicle and any cancelations of bookings for your vehicle. Your public profile may also include aggregated demand information (such as the amount of times your page has been viewed over a period of time).
Rent Your Ride may share Personal Information with Third Party Service Providers who are working with us or have a direct connection with us in terms of customer service and operating our business. These Third Party Service Providers may collect Personal Information from you for our use. An example of us disclosing Personal Information to a Third Party would be for the use of a photography company to get your contact information to shoot your vehicle.
The RYR Platform allows your public profile and public listing pages to be included in search engines, and accordingly your public profile and public listing pages may be catalogued by search engines and may be published as search results for the public to view.
When renting your vehicle to other users Rent Your Ride may provide your phone number, vehicle drop off or pick up location, insurance details, and or driver’s license photo and information to confirm identification.
We may disclose your Personal Information to our insurance company, if we are required by law to do so, or if you violate our Terms of Service.
In the event that Rent Your Ride is merged with another company, completely sells and or partially transfer its assets, or faces bankruptcy we may disclose your Personal Information in connection with with these transactions.
To protect your Personal Information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to ensure your Personal Information is not lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed other than in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
Although no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we follow all requirements and implement additional generally accepted industry standards.
We will only provide your Personal Information to Third Party Service Providers to the extent necessary to enable the Third Party Service Provider to perform any such services to us.
Where you agree to engage a Third Party Service Provider through the RYR Platform (such as payment gateways and payment processors), we are not responsible for the collection, use and storage of your Personal Information by the Third Party Service Provider, and we recommend that you read their privacy policies so you can understand the manner in which your Personal Information will be collected, stored and used by such Third Party Service Providers. To the extent we engage Third Party Service Providers directly, we will require any such Third Party Services Providers to comply with the terms of this Privacy Policy.
Third Party Service Providers may be located in or have facilities that are located in a different jurisdiction than either you or us. If you elect to proceed with a transaction that involves a Third Party Service Provider, then your information may become subject to the laws of the jurisdiction(s) in which that service provider or its facilities are located.
As an example, if you are located in Canada and your transaction is processed by a payment gateway located in the United States, then your personal information used in completing that transaction may be subject to disclosure under United States legislation, including the Patriot Act.
Once you leave our store’s website or are redirected to leave the website or application, you are no longer governed by this Privacy Policy or our website’s Terms of Service.
By using this site, you represent that you are at least the age required for the operation of vehicle in the Province of Manitoba, or that you are the age of majority in your state or province of residence. If a minor has provided us with their personal information without consent of their parent please contact us to remove the personal information and close the account.
If you would like to change or remove any information in your Rent Your Ride account you can accomplish this by logging into your Rent Your Ride account. If you would like to deactivate your account with Rent Your Ride entirely you can do so by logging into your account. Please keep in mind any forum postings or reviews on the platform may still be viewable by the public even after account deactivation.
